Who We Are
Hunger Aid is a not-for-profit organization that aims to solve hunger in India by connecting two major social problems: Hunger and Food wastage as solutions for each other.
We are registered for undertaking CSR activities under the Companies Act, 2013.
What We Do

— Receive Pickup Call
We receive call from donor regarding leftover good quality food at his premises.

— "Hunger Fighter" Leave for collection
After pickup call is received, our volunteers available at that time for pickup leaves for collection of food.

— Food Collection
Volunteers ensures hygiene of food and after that collect food in our containers
04.
— Reach Distribution Points
After collection of food, our volunteers reach at identified distribution points.
Distribution points can be a slum area, old age home, Shelter Homes, Roadsides etc.
05.
— Distribution Start
Our Hunger Fighters distribute food to needy people.
06.
— Happiness Bought
After distribution, our Hunger Fighters leave their home happily.

WHO WE ARE
Two Problems,
One Solution.
India wastes 68.7 million tonnes of food every year — while 190 million people go to bed hungry. HungerAid bridges this gap by channelising surplus food from weddings, restaurants, and homes directly to those who need it most.
Our city chapters are run by “Hunger Fighters” — largely students and young professionals who volunteer whenever they can. A restaurant donates its surplus; our volunteer nearby picks it up and delivers it to a shelter home the same day.
